DIY: create cactuses instead of… cupcakes!

It is the cutest tutorial of the week: caketuses!

Small cakes shaped as cactuses, perennial plants and other plants, very easy to take care of indoor.

On this picture is the final result. The complete tutorial is available here on the blog of the famous Alana Jones-Mann.

Unfortunately, like many cute cupcakes, they may not be eatable. Reagarding the amount of icing to create such plants, the result must be slightly sickening. I recommand this tutorial to shop owners who wish for a nice window display.

The insane details is without doubt the small red and yellow flowers that we can see on real cactuses!

Today it is 45°F in Chicago and I do not believe that we will see many cactuses growing outside, then it may be time to pull up your sleeves and bake your very own indoor cactuses.
